Find a Painter Through Colour Land
Customers often ask us who they can call for painting, staining, refinishing, wallpaper, or renovation work. Colour Land can help point you toward independent local professionals based on the type of project you are planning.
Interior & Exterior Painting Projects
Whether you are painting a bedroom, kitchen, hallway, full home, front door, trim, exterior siding, fence, deck, or commercial space, we can help you think through the paint products, colours, finishes, and prep supplies needed before the work begins.
Independent Painters & Contractors
The painters and contractors referred through Colour Land are independent businesses. Colour Land does not employ them, control their quotes, schedule their work, or guarantee their workmanship. Customers should speak directly with each painter or contractor, review the scope of work, confirm the quote, and make their own final hiring decision.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you tint Benjamin Moore colours?
Yes. Colour Land tints Benjamin Moore colours in-store using official Benjamin Moore formulas and products.
Is the Graimondi Colour Collection part of Benjamin Moore?
No. Graimondi is Colour Land's exclusive owner-formulated colour collection. It is separate from Benjamin Moore's official colour collections. Colour Land still tints Benjamin Moore colours using official Benjamin Moore formulas.
Do you offer colour consulting?
Colour Land provides practical in-store colour advice for customers purchasing paint through our store. Bring photos, samples, flooring, fabric, cabinet finishes, or colour ideas so we can help you compare colours, undertones, finishes, and Benjamin Moore product options.
Do you offer same-day paint tinting?
Yes, same-day Benjamin Moore paint tinting is usually available when product and base availability allows.
Can you help with custom paint matches?
Yes. Bring your paint chip, sample, fabric, flooring, cabinet door, or colour reference to Colour Land and we can help with custom paint matching, colour advice, and Benjamin Moore product selection.
Do you sell paint samples?
Yes. Colour Land offers Benjamin Moore samples and also carries 2 oz paint samples for $4.99 in selected popular colours. The 2 oz sample option is unique to our store and is a helpful way to test colour direction before choosing a larger sample or full paint order.
Why do whites sometimes not cover well?
Whites and very light colours can require extra coats because they often have less hiding strength than deeper colours, especially when covering dark colours, patched areas, stains, drywall repairs, or uneven surfaces. A proper primer can help even out the surface and improve the final finish.
Does "paint and primer in one" mean I can skip primer?
Not always. "Paint and primer in one" usually means the finish paint has improved adhesion and sealing ability on suitable, previously painted surfaces. It does not replace a dedicated primer for every situation. Bare drywall, patched areas, stains, tannin bleed, glossy surfaces, raw wood, problem surfaces, or major colour changes may still need the correct primer. It can be helpful for small spot-priming needs when the surface is otherwise sound.
Why can cabinet colours look different from Benjamin Moore colours?
Cabinet colours can vary when manufacturers or refinishers use lacquer or other spray coatings instead of Benjamin Moore paint. Benjamin Moore colours may be used only as a reference, and the final match can shift by product, sheen, and application method.
Can you help me choose cabinet colours?
Yes, Colour Land can help customers purchasing paint through our store with cabinet colour advice, samples, and Benjamin Moore product options. If your cabinet company or refinisher is using a different coating system, please confirm with them how their colour matching works before making a final decision.
Do you sell wallpaper?
No. Colour Land does not currently sell wallpaper. We focus on Benjamin Moore paint, stains, primers, samples, colour advice, tinting, supplies, and painter/contractor referrals.
Do you offer painter referrals?
Yes. Colour Land can help connect customers with independent local painters and contractors. Painters and contractors are separate businesses and should be contacted directly for pricing, availability, insurance, scheduling, and project details.
