Find Your Perfect Neutral

Find a neutral paint colour that works with your home. Start by tapping your floor colour, then add fixed finishes or accent inspiration if needed.

How this works

Start with fixed elements first. Floors, cabinets, countertops, tile, stone, and built-ins should carry the most weight. A major furniture piece can be added as a supporting colour, but temporary decor such as pillows, rugs, artwork, plants, and accessories should not guide the neutral.

Photo tips for better results

For the most accurate colour recommendation, use clear photos taken in natural daylight. The tool works best when the colour you tap is not covered by shadows, glare, filters, or strong yellow/blue lighting.

  • Use natural daylight when possible.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, heavy shadows, or glare.
  • Turn off very warm or very cool artificial lights.
  • Do not use phone filters or colour-enhancing settings.
  • Tap the area that best represents the real colour of the floor, cabinet, fabric, or finish.
  • For wood or stone, choose a middle tone rather than the lightest or darkest streak.
  • Bring photos or samples to Colour Land so we can confirm your paint colour in-store.

Photos can vary by phone, lighting, and screen settings. Graiflow gives a strong colour direction, but final paint choices should always be confirmed with real Benjamin Moore or Graimondi samples.
